Ìý¶Ù±ð²õ³¦°ù¾±±è³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô:Ìý Emeritus Professor John de Laeter is Emeritus Professor of Physics at the Curtin University Department of Imaging and Applied Physics. Professor John de Laeter was the founding head of Applied Physics at Curtin in the 1960s and is one of Western Australia's most distinguished Scholars. His research publications cover a broad spectrum, from fundamental and applied physics, astronomy and geo-sciences, to issues in Science Education and the history of science. Professor John de Laeter was instrumental in setting up isotope ratio mass spectrometric research in Western Australian culminating in the State Centre of Excellence for Mass Spectrometry, which is now named after him. Although retired for a number of years, Professor John de Laeter continues to be more research active than ever and is an outstanding example of research excellence at Curtin.
