It serves to promote an international understanding and the academic development of students by enabling study at an approved overseas institution as part of their degree.

Preference will be given to students who wish to undertake their studies at an institution in Asia. Selection is based on academic merit, purpose/appropriateness of intended study, and contribution of the overseas experience to personal development.
