听顿别蝉肠谤颈辫迟颈辞苍:听 Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) scholarships are awarded to students of exceptional research potential undertaking a Higher Degree by Research (HDR). APAs are provided to assist with general living costs. Recipients of APAs are restricted in the amount of paid work they can undertake while receiving the award and are not allowed to receive another, similar salary or scholarship to undertake their particular research project. Minor top-up allowances are allowed.

听Annual Comment:听 The scholarship provides a stipend of $25,849 per year (2015 rate, indexed annually). Tenure is 3 years for a PhD and 2 years for a master by research, with a possible a 6-month extension for PhD students. The scholarship also provides a thesis allowance and, where applicable, a relocation allowance. The university may also offer additional top-up scholarships of $10,000 per year.

听贰濒颈驳颈产颈濒颈迟测:听 The awards are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents or New Zealand citizens, who hold a bachelor degree with honours class I or IIA or an equivalent qualification. Applicants cannot: have previously held an Australian Government Research Scholarship for more than 6 months; be in receipt of an equivalent award (greater than 75 per cent of the base stipend); or, have completed a degree at the same level or higher than that proposed.
